Please do your research into the Japanese Chin breed to see if one may be a good fit for your personality and lifestyle. You should also research potential breeders before purchasing your new puppy or dog.
For guidance please contact the JCCA Breeder Referral Chair:

Our Breeder Referral program maintains a list of current Japanese Chin breeders who are JCCA members in good standing and have signed a code of ethics. Reputable breeders typically maintain memberships with their National and/or Regional breed clubs to demonstrate commitment to their breed and participation in a support network. The mission of JCCA Breeder Referral is to connect people interested in acquiring a Japanese Chin with Chin breeders who are JCCA members.
The JCCA also partners with JCCare (Japanese Chin Care and Rescue Effort), which may have available Chin and additional breed information resources.
If you have an interest in adding a Japanese Chin to your family or would like to learn more about this endearing breed, we encourage you to reach out to the Breeder Referral Committee or a JCCA board member.
Breeders included on this list are all JCCA members. Inclusion on the list does not imply endorsement by the Japanese Chin Club of America. The JCCA encourages any potential Chin owner to become educated regarding the Official Breed Standard of the Japanese Chin, potential health and hereditary issues, and responsible breeding practices prior to contacting any Chin breeder.
